AHAB-Akademie offers more than 105 training, continuing education, and certification programs across health promotion, sports, nutrition, and prevention. The curriculum is organized into eight primary departments: Sport und Fitness with 28 courses, Stressbewältigung und Entspannung with 27 courses, Mitarbeiter- und Firmengesundheit with 24 courses, Kindergesundheit with 17 courses, Gesundheitsberatung und Coaching with 17 courses, Reisen with 10 courses, Gesundheitsförderung im Alter with seven courses, and Ernährung with four courses. In addition, the institution provides specialized program inductions for prevention courses, including dedicated coverage of Suchtverhalten. Prospective participants can also access complimentary online offerings, including webinar series such as the Mental Health Week. Instruction is delivered through three distinct formats, giving students options between distance learning and classroom education. Flexible distance learning is provided through self-paced Online-Learning via the digital learning platform, which uses practice-oriented video sequences, study texts, and online quizzes. Alternatively, distance learners can attend scheduled Live-Online seminars via livestream, interacting directly with instructors from home. The academy also provides traditional on-site courses (Präsenzunterricht), where participants practice methods in person at specific regional venues in cities such as Hamburg and Köln, or at seminar hotels for travel-based programs such as the Bildungsreise zum Mental Coach in Bad Harzburg. Named offerings reflect diverse career tracks for instructors, consultants, and coaches. In sports and fitness, offerings include the on-site Athletiktrainer course, alongside live-online and digital program inductions in Rückenschule, Pilates, Aqua-Fitness, Faszientraining, Cardio-Fitnesstraining, and Nordic Walking. In the area of stress management and relaxation, students can complete an on-site Achtsamkeitstrainer training or enroll in live-online qualifications such as Kursleiter für Hatha-Yoga, Kursleiter für prä- und postnatales Yoga, Kursleiter für Senioren-Yoga, and Atem-Coach or Breathwork-Coach. Workplace health initiatives are represented by courses such as Fachkraft für Betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement, which is held live online. Targeted offerings for specific demographic groups and specialized prevention areas are also established across the portfolio. The Kindergesundheit department includes Kindersport, Kreativer Kindertanz, as well as child-specific certifications in Autogenes Training, Progressive Muskelrelaxation, Resilienztraining, and Stressmanagement. The department for older adults, Gesundheitsförderung im Alter, encompasses Sturzprophylaxe, Osteoporose-Training, Beckenbodengymnastik, and Bewegungstraining für Senioren, while addiction prevention includes the Rauchlos smoking cessation program. Many of these modular offerings run as 60- to 90-minute live-online program inductions that qualify instructors to guide prevention courses recognized under Section 20 SGB V. Upon successful examination, graduates earn an official certificate from AHAB-Akademie or a professional trainer license (Trainer-Lizenz). These licenses are issued with lifetime validity and do not require regular renewal or refresher fees. Select courses award continuing education points (Fortbildungspunkte) and academic credit, such as 0.5 ECTS credits for 15-hour specialized yoga courses. Many distance learning courses are officially inspected and approved by the Staatliche Zentralstelle für Fernunterricht (ZFU), ensuring verified standards for independent study.
