About the Instructor

Jochen Wiebe, based in Berlin, works as a self-defense and violence prevention trainer with over eighteen years of experience. The KRASS MAGA Online Academy covers personal safety, de-escalation, conflict management, and physical defense, alongside on-site training and seminars in German cities. Instruction involves professionals from law enforcement, the military, psychology, and jurisprudence, through one online self-defense and safety training course.

Study Programs

The primary training offering by Jochen Wiebe is the KRASS MAGA Online Academy, an online distance-learning program focused on self-defense, violence prevention, and personal security. Delivered through a digital member area, the academy features over 200 practical video lessons, structured tutorials, and regular interactive live online training sessions. Members receive an initial personal one-on-one consultation to assess their specific risk situation and outline suitable training priorities. The platform does not grant academic degrees or formal state-recognized certifications, functioning instead as a continuous practical training program accessible without prior experience. The curriculum of the online academy covers the entire spectrum of personal safety across three core phases: pre-incident prevention, direct physical confrontation, and post-incident management. Subject areas encompass situational awareness, verbal de-escalation, conflict psychology, fear management, legal boundaries of self-defense under German law, and tactical first aid. Specialized modules address practical topics such as handling pepper spray, defending against blunt weapons, active shooter scenarios, and offender strategies. The content is structured for beginners seeking foundational self-defense skills as well as advanced practitioners, security professionals, and martial arts trainers looking for scenario drills and didactic concepts. In addition to the digital academy, Jochen Wiebe conducts on-site training sessions. Prospective students can book individual one-on-one sessions on-site for personalized tactical drills, technical refinements, and tailored threat scenarios. Jochen Wiebe also provides on-site group seminars and workshops for clubs, private groups, and workplace teams. These on-site group events take place several times a year in various German cities, including Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, and Munich, covering subjects such as communication psychology, workplace security, and defense against knife attacks.
