Program Description
The Online Ukulele Beginner Fundamentals Course provides systematic music instruction designed for beginners and returning players seeking a structured foundation on the ukulele. The program teaches proper posture, instrument tuning, and fundamental techniques required to play basic chords and accompany songs, accommodating learners without prior musical experience or those transitioning from other instruments.
The curriculum spans ten structured chapters encompassing eighty minutes of instructional video material, fundamental major scales across various keys, and over fifteen chord progressions spanning popular genres. Students explore rhythm training featuring more than forty-five strumming patterns across tempos from 60 to 200 beats per minute, alongside twenty-one major, minor, and seventh chords supported by chord diagrams, fretboard visualizations, and song accompaniment practice.
Instruction is delivered entirely online via a browser-based web application compatible with desktop and mobile devices. Participants receive access to four interactive digital training tools including a rhythm trainer, scale trainer, chord progression trainer, and chord generator, supplemented by downloadable PDF guides, five technical handbooks, printable chord charts, and a chord-format songbook.
