Online Specialist in Inclusion and Integration Pedagogy Certificate

Program Description
This program qualifies professionals to champion educational equality and tailor pedagogical support to the diverse needs of children, adolescents, and adults. Designed for educators, childcare workers, social pedagogues, and career changers, the qualification provides the expertise required to guide individuals facing distinct learning challenges, disabilities, or migration-related transitions.
The curriculum encompasses foundational theories of inclusion and human rights, developmental and moral psychology, and inclusive practices across early childhood centers, primary schools, and secondary education institutions. Participants explore targeted intervention strategies for specific learning difficulties, special education needs, and multilingual upbringing, while also addressing poverty-sensitive pedagogy, gender awareness, and collaborative family counseling.
Learning takes place through flexible distance study combining digital and printed study booklets, practical exercises, and interactive support via the online campus and the AI learning companion KILEA. A two-day webinar, which is required for the SGD certificate, enables learners to analyze complex case studies and exchange insights with peers and instructors. Learners receive the SGD final certificate (Abschlusszeugnis) after completing all assignments and the SGD certificate after also attending the webinar; the course is state-approved by the ZFU (approval no. 7528325).
