Online Screenwriting and Cinematic Storytelling Course

The Online Screenwriting and Cinematic Storytelling Course provides aspiring writers with the professional craft required to develop compelling scripts for cinema, television, digital formats, and advertising. Geared toward creative writers, journalists, copywriters, and newcomers aiming to enter the media production landscape, this program equips students with the foundational principles of visual dramaturgical design and industry standards.

The comprehensive curriculum begins with initial story ideation and genre differentiation, progressing through character orchestration, archetypal models, and the creation of exposés and treatments. Students master narrative plot structures, scene composition, visual camera language, dialogue craftsmanship, and formal script formatting, alongside practical business guidance covering copyright laws, contract negotiation, industry pitching, and film funding.

Instruction is delivered through 16 structured study booklets available in both print and digital formats, paired with a modern online learning portal. Learners submit practical writing assignments after each module to receive individual corrections and in-depth constructive feedback from experienced industry professionals, dramaturgs, and screenwriters, while benefiting from an extendable 12-month study period.

This program is open to all learners without specific academic or professional prerequisites. Prospective students only require standard internet access and a compatible computer or tablet. Enrollment can be completed directly through the online registration portal at any time.
