Program Description

The Master of Arts in Business Management prepares aspiring professionals and seasoned executives for advanced leadership roles across national and international business environments. Designed for graduates with an undergraduate degree in economics or business administration, this distance-learning degree provides cross-functional strategic perspectives, analytical rigor, and modern decision-making tools. Students cultivate the strategic acumen required to navigate organizational challenges and drive sustainable corporate value.

The 120-ECTS curriculum begins with foundational modules in empirical research methods, corporate management, strategic management, sustainability, change management, and project processes. Students tailor half of their studies, 60 ECTS, by selecting one of six specialized majors: Digital Business Management, Human Resources Management, International Business, Marketing and Sales, PR and Communication, or Business Psychology. The degree concludes in the fourth semester with a practical, research-oriented Master thesis and colloquium addressing real-world managerial problems.

Delivered completely online with no compulsory on-campus attendance, the program offers maximum flexibility for working professionals seeking seamless work-study integration. Live virtual lectures with recorded sessions, twelve exam dates per year, continuous enrollment 365 days a year, and a tuition-free extension of up to 12 months ensure individualized study planning. The degree is state-recognized, reviewed by AHPGS and accredited by the German Accreditation Council, approved by the ZFU, and qualifies graduates to apply for doctoral studies.
