Delivered through a flexible digital learning platform, the program combines twenty-two structured study booklets, five comprehensive case studies, audio review sessions, and interactive online exercises with personalized guidance. An integrated AI learning companion supports self-paced knowledge checks and exam preparation at any hour. The course is offered in cooperation with the IHK Akademie für Weiterbildung Darmstadt and includes two supplementary online events. Participants who attend both and pass the course-internal test receive the IHK certificate Foreign Trade and Export Management in addition to the SGD final certificate (Abschlusszeugnis).

Applicants require completed commercial vocational training or equivalent basic commercial knowledge gained through professional experience, alongside fundamental computer and internet skills. Enrollment is open year-round and can be completed directly online.
