Online Comic and Caricature Drawing Course

The Online Comic and Caricature Drawing Course empowers aspiring illustrators, cartoonists, and creative enthusiasts to transform their artistic ideas into expressive, humorous artwork. Designed for both motivated beginners and experienced drawers looking to refine their comedic visual style, this course provides the skills needed to design personalized greeting cards, book illustrations, editorial cartoons, and commercial comic strips.

The comprehensive curriculum guides students through essential perception and loosening exercises, foundational drawing methods, and character design. Learners explore anatomical proportions, facial mimicry, dynamic postures, and key reduction techniques that define effective caricatures, while also mastering perspective, coloring, and storytelling across comic panels. In addition to technical craft, the coursework examines the publishing marketplace, teaching illustrators how to pitch cartoons to magazine editorial offices and build a distinctive artistic identity.

Instruction combines thirteen comprehensive study booklets with practical video tutorials and physical drawing supplies, including high-quality paper and a posable wooden manikin delivered directly to the learner. Through the interactive online campus, students submit drawing assignments for detailed assessment by a professional cartoonist, participate in supplementary live webinars, and study at their own pace with an optional six-month free extension.

This program is open to all learners without specific prerequisites. Basic drawing interest and creative curiosity are beneficial for practical exercises. Enrollment is available directly through the institution's website, enabling immediate course commencement.
