Online Veterinary Herbal Medicine Training Program

The Online Veterinary Herbal Medicine Training Program delivers advanced scientific and practical knowledge in animal phytotherapy, equipping participants to use medicinal plants safely and effectively in animal healthcare. Designed for animal naturopaths and prospective animal naturopaths, members of veterinary professions, and interested animal owners, the curriculum builds an understanding of botanical remedies and their particular features when used in animals. Participants cultivate professional competencies in holistic veterinary care and develop tailored therapeutic strategies.

The curriculum examines medicinal plant profiles, botanical active ingredients, preparation forms, and pharmacological effects across different animal species. Key study areas include herbal recipes, special dosage forms and markedly different dosages in veterinary medicine, and specific intolerances of animals to certain plant substances. In addition, learners investigate dosage calculation, legal regulatory frameworks in veterinary medicine, and best practices for integrating phytotherapy into preventative health maintenance.

Education is delivered through a flexible distance learning methodology supported by structured study modules and access to the digital Webcampus platform. Students engage with practice-oriented self-study texts, complete practical self-test questions, and receive ongoing guidance from specialized distance learning tutors. This flexible structure accommodates working professionals; the course materials are state-approved by the ZFU (approval no. 764998c).

This program is open to all learners interested in natural veterinary therapies, animal health, and phytotherapy without strict formal prerequisites. Enrollment is completed directly through the institution's official registration portal.
