Online Sketchnotes and Visual Thinking Course

The Online Sketchnotes and Visual Thinking Course teaches participants how to capture ideas, structure concepts, and present information through visual note-taking techniques. Designed for educators, coaches, workshop facilitators, students, and business professionals, the curriculum requires no prior drawing experience or artistic background. Learners explore how simple visual vocabularies can replace text-heavy notes on flipcharts, whiteboards, presentation slides, and meeting minutes.

The curriculum consists of eight core modules containing 34 lessons and 40 instructional videos. Initial lessons cover basic drawing materials, foundational lines, points, and directional arrows. Subsequent units address visual containers such as banners, flags, and speech bubbles, followed by the development of basic icon libraries, facial expressions, human figures, and hands. Advanced modules focus on the functional application of typography, layout structures, color theory, shading, handling drawing errors, and translating complex concepts into structured sketches.

Delivered entirely online through on-demand video instruction, the program includes accompanying digital materials such as a 36-page PDF cheat sheet featuring symbol libraries and layout reference guides. Each lesson incorporates practical drawing exercises accompanied by sample solution models. Participants receive self-paced access to all course materials and receive a digital certificate of completion upon finishing all modules.

This program is open to all learners without specific prerequisites. Enrollment is available directly through the institution's website.
