Program Description
This qualification prepares health professionals, caregivers, and fitness coaches to design and lead targeted physical activation programs for seniors and individuals requiring specialized care. Participants acquire specialized expertise to enhance mobility, foster independence, and elevate emotional and physical well-being across geriatric care environments, community centers, and home care settings.
The curriculum encompasses age-appropriate exercise concepts, functional gymnastics, chair-based movement routines, and motor coordination techniques tailored to the physical limitations of aging bodies. Core modules delve into fall prevention strategies, cognitive enhancement through gentle bodily exercise, cardiovascular stimulation, and psychological approaches to sustainably inspire daily movement.
Delivered through structured self-study materials combined with interactive online seminars, the course allows participants to learn alongside professional commitments. Tutors and digital learning resources on the Webcampus accompany the six-month course. The BTB certificate requires attending two online seminars and preparing an activation session; participants who complete only one of the two receive a confirmation of participation for the theoretical part.
