Program Description
This program provides specialized qualification in the nutritional and health-promoting applications of botany, wild herbs, and edible plants. Designed for nutritionists, healthcare practitioners, wellness consultants, and health educators, it equips participants with the competencies needed to integrate botanical nutrition into holistic health concepts and preventive dietary counseling.
The curriculum encompasses the comprehensive identification and classification of culinary and medicinal herbs, their bioactive phytochemicals, vitamins, and trace minerals. Students examine the physiological effects of plant compounds, potential contraindications, and strategies for designing balanced, plant-focused meal plans that support long-term well-being and disease prevention.
Delivered through a flexible digital distance learning structure, the course combines comprehensive self-study modules with access to the online learning campus and continuous tutor support. This study format enables professionals to acquire specialized botanical expertise at their own pace without interrupting ongoing career commitments.
