Online Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Manufacturing Course

This training program delivers essential knowledge of hygiene standards and statutory compliance specifically tailored for personnel in the food processing and manufacturing sectors. Targeted at staff working in food factories, meat cutting plants, vegetable packing facilities, breweries, and packaging plants, the course prepares participants to adhere to European and United Kingdom regulatory standards, including Regulation (EC) 852/2004 and the Food Safety Act 1990.

The curriculum spans twelve focused learning modules covering food law fundamentals, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point principles, personal hygiene standards, and facility design layout. Additional coursework examines cleaning protocols, pest management, waste disposal, allergen control, foodborne illnesses, microbiological contamination risks, and temperature regulations.

Delivered through a self-paced e-learning format, the training requires approximately two to three hours of study. Knowledge is evaluated through a thirty-question multiple-choice assessment requiring a seventy-five percent score, yielding a RoSPA-assured and CPD-certified qualification available as an immediate digital download or an embossed physical certificate.
