Program Description

This ten-week prevention course introduces participants to the fundamentals of health-preserving Qigong (Daoyin Baojian Gong). Designed for adults seeking structured physical exercises for stress reduction and physical balance, the program teaches gentle movement sequences aimed at improving mobility and supporting body awareness. The curriculum is certified under Section 20 SGB V by the German Central Prevention Center (ZPP), qualifying it for statutory health insurance reimbursements.

The curriculum spans ten sequential modules comprising thirty-four instructional units. Weekly topics integrate movement figures such as Awaking the Qi, Pushing the Boat, Supporting Sun and Moon, and Flying Like a Crane, accompanied by practical guidance on breathing and postural alignment. In addition to guided movement practice, the instructional units cover foundational principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including Yin and Yang, the Five Elements, and methods for personal stress management.

Instruction is delivered entirely online through asynchronous video lessons and supplementary downloadable training materials. A new learning module unlocks each week following completion of the previous unit, ensuring a structured progression over the ten-week term. Participants receive dedicated guidance via email and telephone, with access to the video library available throughout the duration of the course.
