Program Description
This program introduces adult beginners, re-entrants, and self-taught musicians to the technical and theoretical foundations of acoustic guitar playing. The objective is to establish proper hand coordination, reliable chord grip techniques, and fundamental music comprehension to enable independent song accompaniment.
The curriculum follows a phased four-week structure. Initial units focus on mastering three fundamental chords alongside basic music theory and practical accompaniment of straightforward songs. Subsequent modules expand the harmonic repertoire with additional chords, transposing concepts, and right-hand strumming mechanics covering common rhythm patterns and time signatures.
Instruction is delivered entirely through on-demand digital video modules and structured practice exercises. Participants receive twelve months of access to all course materials, allowing study at an individual pace without fixed scheduling commitments.
