Online Forest Bathing and Nature Mindfulness Course

This program is designed for health professionals, coaches, educators, and nature enthusiasts seeking to become certified instructors in forest bathing and outdoor mindfulness. Participants learn how to harness the evidence-based physiological and psychological benefits of Shinrin Yoku to foster resilience, reduce stress, and guide individuals and groups through regenerative nature experiences.

The curriculum thoroughly covers forest ecology, sensory awareness training, breathing techniques, and practical mindfulness exercises in diverse natural environments. In addition to didactic and practical nature-coaching methods, the coursework provides comprehensive training in legal regulations, forest access permits, duty of care, and professional self-employment essentials such as service calculation and event marketing.

Students complete the program through a flexible online study center combining printed and digital study booklets, interactive tests, tutor-graded assignments, and access to the AI learning assistant KILEA. Learning is fully self-paced over eight months with four months of free extension, complemented by optional live webinars and practical weekend seminars to refine hands-on group leadership skills.

Admission requires a keen interest in nature and outdoor health promotion, with no formal academic prerequisites. Participants wishing to obtain the full instructor certificate must submit a final project and provide proof of group leadership experience, which can be completed via an optional hands-on seminar.
