Program Description

The Online Food Sketching and Watercolor Illustration Course introduces young learners and beginners to the art of culinary sketching and watercolor coloring. Tailored for teenagers aged 14 and older as well as creative adults, this program teaches how to capture popular desserts and baked goods on paper without requiring prior artistic experience.

Throughout the curriculum, participants work through four complete dessert drawing projects: an ice cream cup, French macarons, a fresh croissant with jam, and a slice of raspberry cake. Instruction covers foundational drawing principles, pencil sketches, waterproof fineliner detailing, watercolor layering, rendering realistic textures, and depicting volume through light and shadow.

Delivered entirely online via on-demand video streaming, the course provides 60 days of continuous access to four 45-minute structured lessons. Learners work independently at their own pace using standard art supplies such as watercolor paper, paint, brushes, and fineliners to produce finished culinary illustrations suitable for recipe books, cards, or personal portfolios.
