Program Description
The Online Flower Garden Design and Bed Planning Course provides homeowners and hobby gardeners with a structured method to plan and cultivate perennial flower beds. The curriculum addresses garden analysis, layout structuring, and plant selection without requiring prior horticultural knowledge, guiding participants through the steps needed to establish low-maintenance, multi-season blooming gardens.
The curriculum consists of seventeen lessons structured across five core modules: garden vision and site evaluation, defining personal garden styles and spatial layout, selecting reliable perennials suitable for local soil and sunlight conditions, drafting complete planting schemes and shopping lists, and proper bed installation and ongoing maintenance. Participants also receive downloadable planning templates, curated plant lists, checklists, and an accompanying guide on garden design principles.
Instruction is delivered entirely through on-demand video lessons accompanied by practical demonstration videos filmed in actual gardens. Enrollees gain ongoing access to the self-paced materials immediately upon enrollment, allowing them to progress through the modules at their own schedule and implement their bed plans independently.
