Online Educational Counseling Certificate Program

The Online Educational Counseling Certificate Program qualifies participants to offer professional guidance and targeted support to parents, educators, and children navigating developmental, behavioral, and familial challenges. Tailored for pedagogical professionals, social workers, daycare specialists, and career changers, this training delivers the core competencies required to provide systematic consultation across various stages of child and adolescent development.

The curriculum examines developmental psychology, systemic family dynamics, pedagogical intervention models, and constructive communication methodologies. Students study practical conflict management strategies, guidance techniques for school and learning difficulties, methods for addressing behavioral issues, and ethical frameworks governing professional counseling practice.

Learning takes place through a flexible blended distance format combining comprehensive self-study materials, interactive online seminars, and continuous support through the Webcampus platform. The course is state-approved by the ZFU (approval no. 7375921) and AZAV-certified, so funding with a Bildungsgutschein is possible. The BTB certificate requires attending two two-day online seminars and writing a term paper (Facharbeit); participants who complete only one of the two receive just a confirmation of participation.

BTB requires a minimum age of 25 at the time of contract signing, an intermediate school-leaving certificate (mittlerer Bildungsabschluss), and a willingness to engage with professional questions and to cooperate with other professions; individual requirements can be reviewed case by case. Enrollment is available directly through the institution's website.
