This program is designed for employees who operate motor vehicles for work-related purposes and organisations seeking to safeguard staff safety under occupational road risk regulations. The training addresses drivers of delivery vans, taxis, minibuses, company vehicles, and site transport, as well as staff commuting between work locations during business hours. Participants develop essential hazard perception skills, defensive driving strategies, and an acute awareness of legal responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Road Traffic Act 1988.

The curriculum spans six comprehensive modules focusing on road safety principles, pre-drive risk mitigation, and collision avoidance techniques. Learners study route planning, vehicle selection, and environmental conditions before mastering two practical assessment frameworks: the IAMSAFE checklist for driver wellbeing and the PLiERS checklist for vehicle roadworthiness. Further instructional units cover cognitive alertness, reading the road during complex manoeuvres, reversing safety, hazard perception, and effective incident response protocols in the event of breakdowns or emergencies.

Instruction is delivered entirely online via a self-paced e-learning platform featuring interactive learning materials and tracking systems. Assessment consists of an end-of-course test featuring fifteen multiple-choice questions requiring an eighty percent pass threshold, supported by unlimited free retakes. Upon successful completion, learners immediately obtain a downloadable, RoSPA-assured and CPD-certified qualification verifying their compliance with professional driving safety benchmarks.
