Program Description
The Online Digital Hand Lettering and Procreate Course provides structured training in digital typography and calligraphy on the iPad. Designed for beginners as well as experienced letterers transitioning from analog to digital drawing, the program instructs participants on how to produce professional lettering compositions using standard digital drawing tools.
The curriculum spans ten instructional modules and a bonus animation section comprising 57 individual video lessons. Core topics include navigating the Procreate interface, gesture controls, layer management, and canvas setup for print. Students explore brush creation, stroke contrasts, watercolor and chalk effects, 3D lettering styles, isometric perspective, and composition design, alongside practical instruction on creating custom brush sets in the Brush Studio and combining digital artwork with photography.
Instruction is delivered entirely online through on-demand video tutorials totaling over nine hours of runtime. Enrollees receive complementary learning materials, including a digital brush lettering workbook, a dedicated layout designer brush set, and flatlay photo assets for project presentation. Access to the digital learning platform enables learners to progress at their own pace across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
