Program Description

This comprehensive qualification equips learners with psychological insight, communication frameworks, and systemic counseling tools required to guide couples and individuals through relational crises. Designed for aspiring counselors, coaches, therapists, and social work professionals, the course prepares participants to analyze interpersonal conflicts, facilitate constructive dialogue, and foster sustainable relationship solutions.

The curriculum combines foundational relationship psychology with hands-on systemic intervention methods. Key topics include systemic questioning techniques, circular questioning, genogram work, conflict de-escalation strategies, communication pattern analysis, and ethical guidelines in consultative practice. Participants acquire practical competencies to address partnership challenges, separation guidance, and life-transition counseling with clarity and empathy.

Delivered through a flexible blended distance learning model, the program combines structured study guides, digital resources on the Webcampus, and practical seminars. Learners progress at their own speed while receiving ongoing academic support and feedback. The course concludes with two BTB certificates (Paarberater, Systemischer Berater); this requires two online practical seminars in couples counseling and two practical seminars in systemic counseling in Ludwigsburg, Munich, Neuss, Unna, or online, otherwise participants receive only certificates of completion.
