Program Description
The Online Childbirth Preparation and Postpartum Care Course prepares expectant mothers and their partners for labor, delivery, and the initial weeks following childbirth. Designed primarily for women in their third trimester between the 28th and 32nd week of pregnancy, the curriculum provides practical physiological knowledge and psychological coping strategies to approach birth with clarity and calm.
The curriculum covers the stages of labor, physiological birthing processes, hospital procedures, and both natural and medical pain relief techniques, including cesarean and operative deliveries. It also addresses early newborn care, feeding options with dedicated modules on breastfeeding technique and bottle feeding, postpartum recovery, maternal care, breathing exercises, and guided relaxation.
Delivered entirely online, the course includes more than 15 hours of video modules accompanied by 13 downloadable checklists and reference guides. Participants gain flexible access for 24 months across mobile devices, computers, and smart TVs, allowing them to review lessons independently and alongside birth companions at their own pace.
