Program Description
The Online Chess Masterclass provides comprehensive instruction in chess tactics, positional strategy, and endgame play. Structured into three successive stages, targeting ratings up to 1700, 1900, and 2100 DWZ, the course is designed for beginner to advanced chess players looking to build a structured foundation for competitive tournament and club play.
The curriculum covers tactical motifs such as pins, skewers, deflections, and intermediate moves, followed by in-depth analysis of opening repertoires and pawn structures including isolated pawns, hanging pawns, and Carlsbad formations. Advanced modules focus on calculating variations, piece coordination, prophylaxis, and practical endgame technique spanning pawn, knight, bishop, and rook endgames, supported by analysis of games from classic chess world champions.
Delivery takes place through a dedicated learning platform featuring over 200 hours of video instruction and more than 2,100 tactical exercises. The format combines self-paced video lessons with monthly live group advisory sessions conducted via Zoom, a written monthly review, and ongoing interaction through the student community.
