Online Care Certificate Foundation Training

This intermediate online training program prepares healthcare assistants, adult social care workers, assistant practitioners, and clinical support staff for their formal Care Certificate workplace evaluation. Introduced to ensure consistent standards and competencies across health and adult social care, the training provides the theoretical foundation and regulatory knowledge required of professionals in frontline care environments.

The curriculum thoroughly covers all sixteen Care Certificate standards, including duty of care, person-centred working, equality and diversity, privacy and dignity, fluids and nutrition, and infection prevention and control. It integrates essential guidance on safeguarding adults and children, basic life support, mental health and dementia awareness, and the mandatory Oliver McGowan Training on Autism, alongside key legislation such as the Health and Safety at Work Act, the Care Act 2014, and the Mental Capacity Act.
