The Online Advanced Slips, Trips and Falls Safety Course delivers comprehensive training designed to eliminate preventable injuries across diverse commercial and industrial work settings. Developed in partnership with the Health and Safety Executive, this curriculum targets workplace managers, safety supervisors, and team leaders responsible for statutory health and safety compliance, site planning, and facility layout. Participants examine the root causes of slip and trip incidents, evaluate systemic risks, and implement robust control procedures tailored to their specific operational environments.

The curriculum examines slip potential modeling, surface contaminants, and physical engineering interventions designed to eliminate common environmental hazards. Modules explore flooring selection and slip-resistance testing, footwear selection and maintenance protocols, proactive cleaning regimes, and environmental factor mitigation. Learners also study workplace design standards for doorways, ramps, stairs, and sanitary facilities, alongside legal compliance requirements encompassing the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Workplace Regulations 1992, and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

Instruction occurs through an interactive, self-paced digital learning format featuring real-world case studies, scenario analyses, and progressive knowledge checks. The course platform allows learners to track study progress seamlessly and pause or resume modules at will. Assessment concludes with a 30-question multiple-choice examination requiring a 75 percent score to pass, leading immediately to an accredited, downloadable CPD digital certificate.
