Online Advanced Norwegian Language Course

The Online Advanced Norwegian Language Course is designed for learners with prior knowledge of Norwegian at the A2 level or above who aim to reach intermediate and advanced proficiency. Anchored by the serialized narrative Mysteriet om Nils, the program targets reading comprehension, listening skills, and grammatical accuracy through an engaging storyline. A comprehensive summary of the preceding story elements ensures that participants can join directly without having completed the beginner module.

The curriculum centers on essential high-frequency vocabulary, authentic texts, and practical exercises that prepare learners for everyday life and professional situations in Norway. Core grammar topics are deconstructed through concise video lessons, straightforward explanations, and memorable contextual examples designed to demystify complex sentence structures. Students progress through narrative chapters that systematically introduce colloquial usage, advanced sentence patterns, and cultural nuances.

Instruction is delivered entirely online via self-paced digital learning modules featuring video lectures, reading passages, and interactive exercises. Learners determine their study schedule independently, supported by flexible monthly access that can be adjusted or cancelled as needed. Continuous self-assessment and practical review tasks reinforce vocabulary retention and grammatical confidence throughout the learning process.

This program is open to all learners with a prior Norwegian proficiency of at least level A2. Enrollment is available directly through the institution's website on a monthly subscription basis.
